Preventative Care
Preventative Dentistry is about creating healthy dental habits, like brushing and flossing, along with regular dental visits. Here at Gerald G. Gutsell D.D.S. Ltd. we will help our patients develop good habits and perform routine cleanings and dental exams to help reduce cavities and gum disease.
Restorative Dentistry
Dr. Gutsell is committed to offering a full range of restorative dental services. There are several options for restoring or replacing a tooth, ranging from conservative to esthetic treatments. Depending on each patient’s personal needs, we are happy to explain all treatment options.
Periodontal Services
Diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease (gum disease) is important to stop the spread of the disease and to help maintain healthy gums and teeth. While serious, periodontal disease is treatable. If left untreated, it can lead to bone and tooth loss. Periodontal disease is not reversible, but with proper care and treatment it can be controlled. Periodontal services include deep cleanings, management of pockets of the gums, oral hygiene education, more frequent dental cleaning appointments, and medicated/ antibiotic treatment if necessary.
Pediatric Dentistry
Our staff understands the importance of good oral health for young children. We recommend that children generally have their first dental visit around age 2 1/2. Parents who practice good oral hygiene at home will help their children adopt these good habits as well. Your child’s first few dental visits will help them become comfortable in our office. We understand the growth and development of primary teeth allowing us to treat dental concerns and use preventative treatments to maintain good oral health for your child.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Maintaining a youthful smile is important to everyone, more and more people have become interested in having teeth that are straight and free of stains, chips, and other defects. Advances in cosmetic dentistry have made it possible for dentists to repair damaged teeth producing a natural appearance. Whether through minor adjustments or major treatment plans, we can improve your smile and help you build confidence in the way your teeth look.
